By the way, we saw Up this afternoon. Ten thumbs Up from us, all told. I would watch the whole movie just to see the balloons move, but there was much more Pixar goodness to enjoy than that. Fun and UPlifting!

Tri-State Martial Arts Academy held its annual picnic last weekend. Everyone in my house looks forward to this thing! I’m posting a few choice pics from the park where there were major water gun wars and water balloons. The volleyball game never ended. There was a pie-eating contest, a ball ride, and lots of great food. The parents, sifus, and kids of TSMAA really know how to have fun on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
On The Fourth of July, my twin sister and I get our families together for a red-white-and-blue, summer bar-b-cue. It’s such a fun, easy celebration every year. The food is way too good, the kids play and run around like happy little American kids. Everyone enjoys themselves. On purpose. Here are some of my good memories…
Ahhh, the Lake House. The noisy world doesn’t know about that place. Here are some shots from our fun time with my husband’s wonderful family, who shared their home with us, not to mention great food and laughs. Good times!
We took some family portraits…
And this is Elizabeth. Jon introduced us to her this week. We all loved her! The kids had the cutest things to add to our high praise. They volunteered these statements:
“She’s amazing!”
“Elizabeth is sooooo fun and she knows about Teen Titans!”
“Elizabeth is a little like a Mom when she scratches my head.”
“I’m going to miss my friend Elizabeth!” It was too cute!
I am home, rested up from a few days at the lake and ready to move forward. After a few painful weeks, headaches, dollars, phone calls, and strongly worded emails to Apple, I FINALLY have my computer back. Cue the choir. I’m ready to go!
This weekend, I’ll be catching up on client files, cleaning, and celebrating Independence Day with one of my very favorite families. Stay tuned for some fun pics.
Here’s one shot from the lake that I love. It’s my current favorite photo…
