Living History Farm

On this beautiful day, I met up with Tracy Lee at the Living History farm. We talked shop, took pictures and watched the animals. She happens to be an animal whisperer/expert, so I learned a lot. What I did NOT learn was how to stay calm when attacked by a gaggle of cranky geese. But that wasn’t her fault!

Soon, this gorgeous sky gave way to a massive thunder cloud. A pretty abrupt ending to an otherwise lovely time.

“My little Buttercup, has the sweetest smile…”

Scenic Drive-By

On Mother’s Day, I can make everyone to sit for a long drive and enjoy the scenery. And they kindly act like it’s all they ever wanted. I appreciate the effort!

This was the memorable view from my window. The sky was magnificent that day.

Philadelphia at Night

Philadelphia is such a beautiful, accessible city. I was glad to see the night lights and architecture recently with Alan. We had dinner and enjoyed a very fun, but COLD walk through town. I took a few shots as we drove around before heading home.

This view of the Philadelphia Museum of Art made getting out of the warm car worthwhile. It’s beautiful at night!

note: For scale, notice there are two people in front of the columns on the right!

Photography

Of all my children, the one named Weston loves photography.

I took him with me to shoot for a while at the park. We talked shop and composition. Afterwards, we found hot soup and chocolate. (Which he deserved. It was cold!) Could he know how fun that was for me?

Holiday Season in Full Swing

It IS beginning to look a lot like Christmas. And I still have a million things on my to-do before you ruin Christmas list. I am not complaining — it’s for a very good cause! I just cannot wait to rest and celebrate with my family. Love the holidays.

A cozy view of one of my favorite spots in town.
