Photography

Of all my children, the one named Weston loves photography.

I took him with me to shoot for a while at the park. We talked shop and composition. Afterwards, we found hot soup and chocolate. (Which he deserved. It was cold!) Could he know how fun that was for me?

Gracie, Baby!

Here is Gracie. She’s the most contented, observant little girl.

When Gracie’s older, I hope she understands how adorable she is when she’s sad and why I posted her in distress!

In these last few images, Gracie is wearing little heirlooms. The jacket and hat were crocheted many years ago by her great-Grandmother, my own Granny.

Karlina and Coltan

More family fun! It’s that time of year. I was privileged to spend a couple of hours with Coltan, Karlina and their wonderful parents last week.

Isn’t she precious? You may remember this post of beautiful Karlina when she was 1 week old.

Here’s Coltan. What a BOY, always moving and watching, kicking tires — which is all the more adorable because he’s such a big-hearted little guy.

We tried a few times to make the Santa hat work. The kids weren’t having much of it. I loved these two shots but didn’t catch any red in the hat. Alaska is near the North Pole, right?

Happy Baby Girl

Brittany and her daughter, Jade, are close. Jade has a happy, comfortable way about her that shows how well loved she is. Totally adorable.
